My story
I’m Andreas.
Husband to my wife, father to my two sons and tattooist on the side.
I have always been a creative kid. I was no good in school. I was more interested in drawing than
paying attention in class. First on paper, then on the tables then on the walls.
Later in life I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted do. I worked dead-end jobs and went in
and out of graphic- and art schools.
Every now and again I would get a little tattoo that I had designed myself, but if wasn’t until I
started getting tattooed by Franz Jäger that I fell head over heels in love with tattooing. He blew
my mind with his style, pride and professionalism. I saw the light. Tattooing was my path!
I made myself a portfolio and searched for an apprenticeship. A couple of years later I had one and
I have never looked back.
I have worked in some of the best tattoo shops in Copenhagen and now I am proud to say that I
co-own Death of Glory, in Copenhagen, where I work with the best people imaginable.
You feel the vibe the second you enter the shop. So wonderful.
After more than a decade of tattooing the love gets greater year by year. I am still humbled by the
magic. I’m always inspired, always striving to get better. The connection to the clients is a gift.
And I am grateful for each tattoo I get to do and for the trust people put in me day by day.
